We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to support our team in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, leading by example, and helping team members provide a positive dining experience for our customers. This role requires someone who can work effectively in a busy environment and support the team during both weekday and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and supporting team members to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery.
- Providing guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues to help maintain high performance standards.
- Supporting the smooth running of daily operations, including customer service, food service, and front-of-house activities.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and compliance standards across the dining and service areas.
- Responding to customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and appropriately.
- Supporting management with the implementation of company procedures and operational standards.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Working as part of the team, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and completing operational tasks.
- Encouraging teamwork and maintaining a positive and respectful working environment.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or similar role, ideally within hospitality, catering, or food service.
- The ability to support and motivate colleagues in a busy working environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
- The ability to remain calm and make effective decisions when working under pressure.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training can be provided where required).
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, according to business requirements.
- The legal right to work in the UK (verification will be required as part of the recruitment process).
