THE ENVIRONMENT
Hogs Haven Golf Club is an extraordinary new private members’ golf club nestled in the hills overlooking the ancient city of St Andrews. THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail orientated Transport Manager who possesses the ‘service gene’, to lead the Transport team, who are responsible for all member transfers, driver & fleet management. They will schedule the movements of our members and guests with absolute care and discretion.
Working within the Concierge Services department, you and your team will maintain our fleet, coordinate driver and transfer schedules and mentor our drivers to deliver a refined, luxurious and engaging experience that reflects the nature of our club, ensuring that every journey is executed flawlessly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fleet Management: Ensure compliance in all areas of service provision. Ensure driver hour and GDPR regulations are met, maintain and implement consistent service, MOT and maintenance schedules, manage driver and vehicle documentation, maintain tax and insurance provision. Keep up to date with latest industry standards and government legislation, support audits, inspections and regulatory compliance.
Operations: Oversee the transport team to create comprehensive transfer schedules for airport runs, golf and dining shuttles, sightseeing and day trips, daily workflow coordination. Instruct vehicle detailers re provisioning and liaise with drivers and detailers regarding ad hoc vehicle maintenance, fuel logs, and spot-check inspections.
Service Standards: Manage driver recruitment training and monitor driver telematics. Develop and continuously review SOPs for chauffeur etiquette, vehicle presentation and elite driving protocols.
Member Relations: Conduct high-level meet-and-greets, proactively seeking feedback to refine and elevate the guest journey.
External Liaison: Build strong relationships with third-party providers and local venues (golf courses, dining, etc.) to ensure drivers understanding for smooth arrival and departure procedures.
WORK SCHEDULE
- In-Season (May – Oct): Shift-based 5 days Mon – Sun with rostered on-call shifts.
- Off-Season (Nov – April): Office-based Mon –Fri with WFH options.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking a dynamic and detail orientated leader who possesses the ‘service gene’ and is keen to deliver at the highest service level.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar transport or logistics management role within a luxury environment. To satisfy our insurance requirements, the candidate must be over 30 years old.
Licensing: Full British Driver’s license + Cat D1 + Transport Manager PSV CPC
Communication: Fluent English with excellent written and verbal skills.
Logistics Expertise: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage last-minute itinerary changes and flight cancellations.
Dynamic: Ability to handle last minute changes and cancellations with care and diplomacy
Presentation: Punctual and conscientious with immaculate personal presentation.
Tech Literacy: Proficiency in MS365 and CRM/TMS
