PART-TIME RESERVATIONIST

16 hours over 3 days.

Rate of Pay - above minimum wage

The Kingsmills Hotel Group consists of the luxury 4-star Kingsmills and 5-star Ness Walk hotels. Located in the Scottish Highland capital of Inverness, we have an outstanding reputation for warm hospitality

We are currently seeking a Part-time Reservationist to join our current Team. You will be working within a busy office being manned between the hours of 09.00am-18.00pm Monday to Saturday, (Saturday 09.00-17.00pm), usually one Saturday per month requiring you to work three days. Hours and days can be flexible and discussed with the applicant.

Key Responsibilities -

Manage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
Provide detailed information about accommodations, amenities, and services offered.
Assist guests with special requests and ensure their needs are met throughout the booking process.
Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information in the system.
Handle changes or cancellations of reservations professionally and courteously.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.
Stay informed about local attractions and events to provide recommendations to guests.

Skills Required

Strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Excellent phone etiquette, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
Proven ability to provide exceptional guest services, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Familiarity with hotel operations and reservation systems is an advantage.
Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail in managing bookings and guest information.

You have excellent organisational skills, impeccable attention to detail and a fantastic ability to prioritise
Flexibility, adapting to changing demands and timescales, as well as using your initiative, are just some of your key skills
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Kingsmills Brand. You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

We are looking for a strong candidate who has previous experience within a Front Desk/Reservations Role.
