Full-time role, Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (covering 9am - 5pm on occasion to suit business needs), working alongside our experienced planning and administration team.
This role is a maternity cover position, for up to one year. There is potential for this to become a permanent role depending on business needs.
Duties will include:
- Liaising between drivers either on the phone or at the Workshop reeption
- Liaising with other workshop members including managers, mechanics and stores personnel
- Booking in vehicles and data entry
- Managing accident reporting spreadsheet, alongside Health & Safety
- General clerical duties to include filing / photocopying / stationary audits / first aid audits etc.
- Invoice reconcilliation processes, including tyre invoices
- Administration for inspection paperwork for trailers, units and small plant
- Taking, logging and ensuring efficiency of ATF Bookings (MOT's)
- Completing and updating daily / weekly fire log
- Acting as first point of contract for all 3rd party work, contractual and ad hoc, including taking bookings, providing updates and liaising with internal departments for invoice preparation
Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred; however full training will be provided.
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience within an administrative role (desirable, full training will be provided)
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisational skills with the ability to work within a time sensitive environment
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office

Pay: £13.45-£14.06 per hour
