Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We also provide a joining bonus after 3 months of service with us.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality food production.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to create innovative dishes that meet customer expectations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
Help manage kitchen operations during busy service periods, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
Excellent organisational skills to maintain a well-functioning kitchen.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while supervising staff effectively.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Capable of multitasking in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
