Scrap Metal Worker
Location: Consul Road Rugby
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 11:30am
About the Role
We are a new and growing scrap metal business looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team. This is a hands-on role based at our industrial unit, offering the opportunity to be part of a business from the very beginning.
The successful candidate will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring materials are handled safely and customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting, processing, and handling scrap metal materials.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Keeping the yard and work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
- Assisting customers with deliveries and collections.
- Weighing and recording materials accurately.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Supporting the team with general yard duties as required.

Previous experience in the scrap metal, recycling, or waste industry is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided for the right person.
