Full job description

Location: Corsham

Hours: 15 - 22.5 hours per week, 2/3 days a week (days are flexible)

Salary: Starting wage £12.71 ph (dependent on skill/ experience)

A professional accountancy practice in Corsham is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent organisational skills, and is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter and update data in company systems and spreadsheets.
Maintain and organise records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Review data for errors and inconsistencies, making corrections where necessary.
Create, update, and manage Excel spreadsheets.
Generate basic reports and summaries using Excel.
Assist with general administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data management.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in a data entry or accountancy is preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time
