Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Quantity Surveying Degree Apprentice. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the construction process while supporting the team with general administrative duties.

On completion of your Degree Apprenticeship, you will receive a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Quantity Surveying.

If you have strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy skills, and a desire to develop a rewarding career in construction, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities (training will be provided):

Taking quantities from drawings and obtaining quotes from suppliers.
Ordering of materials, managing subcontractor enquiries and subsequent orders, and preparation of Health & Safety documentation for construction projects based on templates.
Provide administrative support to the office and construction teams, including data entry, filing, and maintaining project records.
Manage office duties such as organising documents, scheduling meetings, and coordinating project timelines.
Liaising with architects, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Assist with using software to record sales/purchases and reconcile accounts.
Support payroll preparation, invoice tracking, and payment management.
Maintain an organised workspace and ensure that office supplies are stocked.
Assist with tender document preparation.

Requirements:

Minimum Academic entry requirements to enroll onto Degree Apprenticeship programme, typically equivalent of BBB at A levels.
Previous relevant experience is preferred.
Strong proficiency in office software (Excel/Word/Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of organisation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
A full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential.

Job Attributes:

This is an office-based role, with working hours from 7.30am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
