Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our team. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, and light commercial vehicles
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components, such as brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and lights
- Identify and report any defects or issues that may affect the vehicle's safety or compliance with regulations
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of all tests conducted and results obtained
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining test results and answering any questions or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with current MOT testing regulations and attend training sessions as required

Experience:
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle components
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and adjustments
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
- Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively
