Birch Meadow Landscaping Ltd delivers well-planned, high-quality landscaping projects across North Devon and Somerset. Our work focuses on properly constructed hard landscaping, carried out over multi-week programmes with good organisation, clear standards, and attention to detail.
Due to a strong forward workload, we are looking to appoint an experienced Skilled Hard Landscaper to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Role
You will work as part of a skilled site team delivering a range of landscaping projects, including:
- Setting out from drawings and site instructions
- Construction of patios, paths, steps and retaining walls
- Groundworks, foundations and drainage
- Timber work, fencing and finishing details
- Soft landscaping and planting where required
This role is suited to someone who understands how landscaping should be built and finished properly, not rushed.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience in hard landscaping or groundworks
- Strong practical skills in paving, groundwork and construction
- Ability to work accurately from drawings and site instructions
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Beneficial (not essential):
- Soft landscaping experience and good plant knowledge
- Setting-out experience
- Machine tickets
- Experience supporting or mentoring others on site
- CDM awareness.
