Salary: £45,500–£52,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
As a Deputy Manager you'll play a key role in the leadership and smooth running of the home, working closely with the Registered Manager and supported by a full complement of clinical, care and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the home
- Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence, maintaining continuity of care and operational standards
- Work closely with the Clinical Lead and nursing team to uphold excellent clinical and care standards
- Support staff supervision, training, mentoring, and development
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards through regular audits and quality monitoring
- Support with staffing levels and rotas alongside the nursing team
- Build strong, trusted relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and care plan reviews
- Champion a warm, person-centred culture with a focus on positive behaviour support
What We're Looking For:
- NMC-registered nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) desirable, or significant senior care management experience preferably within a nursing home setting
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) desirable
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A compassionate, resilient person with a passion for delivering high-quality care
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across the team
