Bank Assistant Chef

£13.35 per hour

Your role

Help plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for employees
Enjoy a better work-life balance with no late nights or split shifts, giving you more time for yourself
Promote and maintain food hygiene and safety standards
Carry out risk assessments and keep the kitchen clean and safe
Support the supervision and development of staff
Manage kitchen stock and equipment within budget and follow cash handling procedures

This position would also suit a Line Cook, Cook, Assistant Cook or Commis Chef.

Your skills

Experience working in a catering environment
Valid food hygiene certificate
NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering
Knowledge of health and safety procedures and confidence using catering machinery
Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of ingredients and produce
Good communication and customer care skills
Awareness of dietary requirements and how food types can affect medication
