Whitmore and White are an Independent Wine Merchant, Food Hall and Delicatessen and have been in Frodsham for more than 9 years. By day we provide a retail experience offering wines, sprirts and food from both near and far, alongwith our locally roasted coffee which we serve in house. We are also a small wine bar where people can enjoy wines from our select menu and grab a bottle off the shelf, staying open late on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Sales Supervisor to join our team at Whitmore and White in our Frodsham store to focus on our Evening & Weekend service. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on expanding our weekend & Service as we operate as a wine bar.
Our store is full of amazing food and wine and a passion for this is beneficial, along with the ability to make fresh coffee would be advantageous.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product features
- Restock merchandise and ensure shelves are properly organized
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Making and serving coffee
- Serving poured (Alcoholic)drinks
Experience:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Working in cafe/Hospitality industry (desired)
- Able to use a coffee machine (desired)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
