Full job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a field-based Profit Protection Manager to join our team covering the London/South East region! This role would be suited to an experienced Profit or Loss Prevention individual with a proven record of controlling shrinkage and has a passion for compliance and the profitability of their store.

At B&M, as a Profit Protection Manager you will ensure that the stores' physical security is at its optimum level in line with Company procedures. You will be responsible for reducing stock loss in line with Company targets through internal/external theft and fraud resolution.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Analyse and interpret data to make the maximum impact on company profitability
Work with stores to monitor & analyse area loss reports
Continuously review, assess, and identify risks within the stores
Investigate cash losses, loss causing activity & conduct investigations
Conduct and prepare for investigations into serious procedural breaches
Ensure effective communication channels between profit protection & retail operations
Deliver training sessions with store management teams

The skills & experience you’ll bring:

Demonstrated experience in a Profit/Loss Prevention role, with proven results of implemented initiatives to ensure profit protection
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience of using point of sale & stock management systems to investigate anomalies

As part of the role & due to geographical location of stores, the successful candidate must be fully flexible. You will receive the tools to do the job such as a company car, laptop, and phone.
