Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, keen baker to join our family owned thriving bakery team in the centre of Bath.

Experience in a production environment would be an advantage but not essential, as full training will be given. More important is a willingness to learn, a friendly can-do attitude and reliability.

About Us:

A leading independent family run bakery based in Bath, with 2 locations in Bath. We supply local hotels, cafes and restaurants.

We are extremely proud of our teams who hand make our innovative, indulgent treats for customers across the UK.

Hours:

Full Time 35-40 pw

Typical shift: 7.30am-3.30pm

To alternate weekends with your team.

What you will be doing:

You will be fully trained on health & safety, allergens and more.

Duties are varied but you will be a hands-on maker, baking and packing our handmade products.

Reporting to the bakery manager you will work as part of a small team producing fantastic products to a high standard and helping to pack orders ready for dispatch. You may also be required to help take in deliveries and put away ingredients whilst following our food safety forms daily.

We are looking for someone who has a commitment to developing their skills and knowledge; willingness to learn is essential.

You are hard-working, thrive in a busy environment and can work to our food safety standards in an efficient, organised way.
You have a willingness to learn new skills.
You have a healthy track record of attendance and punctuality and a positive and motivated approach to work.
Previous bakery or food production experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
