We are looking for a forward-thinking and motivated individual with experience in customer contact centers to join our team as a Customer Services Advisor. Our Customer Services team work in a fast paced office environment, handling telephone and online queries from customers in relation to our tolling system.
Key Responsibilities:
The Customer Services Advisor will provide high quality support to customers using the Bridge and its tolling system. The role involves handling customer enquiries by phone, live chat and online contact forms, resolving account queries, processing appeals against Unpaid Toll Notifications and supporting customers to understand payment options, account processes and outstanding toll debt.
The postholder will play an important role in ensuring all end to end tolling processes are performed, from the photographic capture of a vehicle crossing the Bridge, through to the resolution of customer enquiries, unpaid toll notifications, and, where necessary, progression through the debt recovery process, while supporting the effective operation of the tolling system and delivering a high standard of Customer Service.
The Customer Service Advisor is a full time position working 37 hours per week across 4 compressed days. The working pattern is based on a 4 week rotating shift pattern which includes 1 Saturday and Sunday per month. The working hours are outlined below:
- Monday - Friday are 8am to 6pm,
- Saturday 8:30am to 13:15pm
- Sunday 8:45am to 13:15pm.
This is a fixed term contract to 31st March 2027 and will be based in our offices on Ferriby Road in Hessle, HU13 0HX.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Problem solving to resolve customer complaints
- Experience in complaint handling and customer service based roles
- Strong IT Skills and professional telephone manner
- Demonstrated experience working within a team and on own initiative
