Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Intern to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity for qualified Veterinary Surgeons looking to gain hands-on experience in a referral clinical setting while working alongside board certified diploma holders in surgery and neurology. The Veterinary Intern will be involved in various aspects of animal care, clinical research, and patient management, providing an invaluable learning experience in the veterinary field.
Duties
- Assist veterinarians with clinical examinations and procedures.
- Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Participate in clinical research projects, contributing to the advancement of veterinary medicine.
- Engage in medical imaging tasks, assisting with X-rays, CT scanner and other diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Educate pet owners on proper care and health management for their animals.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Previous practical experience in small animal practice is highly desirable.
