Youth Support Worker Wanted – Somerton

We're looking for a kind, energetic and reliable person to support a fantastic young lad with autism & ADHD.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys being active, creative and happy to join in with imaginative play. No two days are the same!

About the role:

Location: Somerton (local applicants preferred as travel expenses are not paid)

Hours:

4 hours per week during term time

12 hours per week during school holidays

Pay: £15.90 per hour

About him:

He's a fun, funny and imaginative young person who loves adventures, exploring new places and sharing the amazing worlds he creates through his games and stories. He thrives with someone who is enthusiastic, patient and genuinely enjoys getting involved in play rather than just supervising.

We're looking for someone who is:

Active, energetic and enjoys being outdoors

Patient, caring and understanding

Happy to engage in imaginative play and follow his interests

Reliable and able to build a positive, trusting relationship

Experience with autism is welcomed but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

If you're looking for a meaningful part-time role where you can make a real difference while having plenty of fun along the way, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: £15.90 per hour
