B2B Account Manager
Location: Leeds (Office Based)
Salary: £28,000 per year + Performance Bonus

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious B2B Account Manager who can develop new business while managing existing customer relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building long-term relationships and generating repeat business.
The Role
This is a hybrid sales role combining new business development (40%) and account management (60%).
You will receive enquiries from our Business Development Executives and marketing team while also proactively finding your own opportunities through outbound sales activity.
Your objective is to grow your portfolio of customers and maximise repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Contact potential business customers
- Generate your own leads through telephone, LinkedIn and email
- Build relationships with AV integrators, retailers, education, hospitality and corporate clients
- Qualify opportunities
- Arrange Teams meetings where required
- Prepare quotations
- Follow up quotations
- Close new business
Account Management
- Manage your own customer portfolio
- Maintain regular contact with customers
- Identify upselling opportunities
- Increase repeat orders
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Resolve customer enquiries
- Coordinate with Operations regarding deliveries
- Support customers throughout the sales process
Sales Administration
- Update CRM after every customer interaction
- Create quotations
- Process customer enquiries
- Follow outstanding quotations
- Chase purchase orders
- Follow overdue payments where required
- Produce weekly pipeline reports
Daily Targets
- 40-60 outbound calls
- 15 follow-up calls
- 10 new prospect emails
- 5 LinkedIn connections
- 5 quotations
- Minimum 1 new customer per week
- CRM updated after every activity
Monthly KPIs
- £50,000 Sales Target
- Minimum 10 New Business Accounts
- CRM Compliance 100%

Skills Required
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong telephone manner
- Good negotiation skills
- Confident using CRM systems
