Fundraising at The Glasshouse has grown substantially and is now navigating a period of change. With major artistic, learning and capital ambitions ahead, events and corporate engagement are a core part of how we build relationships and generate support.
About you and who we’re looking for
Are you highly organised, detail orientated and calm under pressure? Do you enjoy planning, coordinating and making things run smoothly behind the scenes, while also feeling comfortable meeting new people and helping them feel welcome?
We’re looking for someone to join the Development team to support the delivery of our fundraising and corporate engagement events. These events are central to how we build relationships with supporters, partners and stakeholders – from major donors and trusts to corporate partners and members – and play an increasingly important role in our corporate income strategy.
This role is about coordination, logistics and delivery, but also about people. You’ll keep track of plans and practicalities, including managing guest lists, bookings and briefings, liaising with colleagues and suppliers, while taking an interest in why we’re bringing people together, not just how.
You’ll also support corporate partnership engagement, helping deliver events and experiences that strengthen long‑term business relationships, including ticketing, stewardship, contract and administrative support.
This is an admin and delivery role, but it’s also a high‑trust, high‑impact role, offering a brilliant opportunity to learn about fundraising and relationship‑building in practice.
It would be great if you had experience in:

Excellent organisational skills: strong admin is the backbone of this role, from managing invitations and RSVPs to booking suppliers and tracking follow‑up.

Confidence coordinating multiple moving parts and people, staying calm and organised when plans change.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues across the organisation (including senior leaders) and with external guests, partners and suppliers.

An interest in people and relationship‑building: you’re comfortable meeting new contacts, tactful in your approach and keen to learn how fundraising relationships develop.

A forensic eye for detail and a collaborative, team‑focused approach.

A practical problem‑solver who looks for creative solutions.

Willingness to work some evenings and weekends in line with the events programme (with time off in lieu).

Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, including tracking budgets, expenses and CRM updates accurately.
It also helps if you have:

Experience supporting or delivering events, hospitality or guest‑facing activity.

An interest in fundraising, partnerships or the charitable sector.

Experience of using CRM systems (or willingness to learn).

Basic design or formatting skills (PowerPoint, Canva or similar).

An interest in music, culture and the work of The Glasshouse.
Your role
As the Development Events & Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll be a key member of the Development team, supporting a busy programme of events and engagement activity for supporters, partners and stakeholders.
You’ll work closely with Development colleagues and teams across the organisation – including Programming, Tech, Marketing, Front of House and Operations – to deliver events that build relationships, support corporate income and make guests feel genuinely valued.
The role covers two main areas:

Fundraising and stakeholder events, including major donor, trusts, membership and leadership engagement.

Corporate partnership and hospitality support, focused on events, experiences and stewardship activity.
You’ll be responsible for:

Coordinate the planning and delivery of fundraising and corporate engagement events at The Glasshouse and externally.

Manage event administration end to end, including guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, follow‑up, room bookings and supplier liaison.

Prepare clear, accurate event briefing notes for colleagues, senior leaders and hosts.

Support on‑the‑day event delivery, acting as a welcoming, professional and tactful point of contact for guests and partners.

Maintain oversight of the fundraising and corporate events calendar, flagging capacity or sequencing issues early.

Support corporate partner engagement through events, hospitality and stewardship activity.

Ensure all attendance, engagement and follow‑up is accurately logged on the CRM system (Tessitura).

Track event budgets, process invoices and support financial administration.
-
Contribute ideas to improve event processes, systems and guest experience.

Provide general fundraising administration support during busy periods, as required.
