Overview

Join a dynamic financial services team as a Self-Employed and Employed Mortgage Advisor, where your expertise will empower clients to achieve their homeownership dreams. In this versatile role, you will provide expert mortgage advice, guide clients through complex financial decisions, and build lasting relationships. Whether working independently or as part of a dedicated team, your proactive approach will drive success and growth in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers the flexibility to operate as a self-employed professional or as an employed team member, giving you the freedom to shape your career path while making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Assess clients’ financial situations using basic math skills to determine suitable mortgage options
Provide clear, transparent advice on mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment plans
Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process from initial consultation to approval
Stay informed about current market trends, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies during all client interactions
Manage documentation accurately and efficiently to support loan processing and approval procedures

Qualifications

Experience or background in financial services or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
New Build experience required but not essenitial
Strong proficiency in basic math for calculations related to interest rates, payments, and affordability assessments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive client information
Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulations and market conditions
