Accounts Assistant and Bookkeeper - Part Time with flexible working days & hours between 8.55am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday

We are looking for a focused and highly self-motivated accounts assistant to join out fast-growing promotional gift company.
The aim of the role is to provide accounts and administrative support, including sales invoicing, purchase invoicing, corresponding with clients, credit control, data entry, to format, organise and calculate data in Microsoft Excel and other responsibilities to ensure the accounts are as up to date as possible.

The job entails:
- Assisting in the day-to-day operations
- Raising purchase orders using our SOP system
- Processing sales order using our SOP system
- Passing/raising purchase and sales invoices
- Daily bank reconciliations and posting of bank transactions in Sage 50 accounts
- Paying suppliers
- Twice monthly customer statements
- Telephone duties including credit control
- Electronic filing of documentation
- To work to the standard operating procedures developed for your job role
- Liaise with suppliers and customers alike
- Collating monthly figures from downloaded csv files
- Keep your own workplace and office tidy and presentable
- Stock control reports/downloads
- Liaise closely with other members of each of our departments to ensure efficient working to enable maximum throughput of all orders
- As and when required, help with any other administrative roles within the company
Required Skills:
- 1 year + MS Office Experience– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential (VLookup & SUMIF)
- 1 year + Sage 50 Experience
- 1 year + Telephone Experience
Advantageous/Desired Skills:
- Credit control experience
- Invoice Dispute handling
