Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Lightspeed
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Use Cover Manager to manage bookings efficiently in fine dining settings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or nightclub events
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service roles such as waitress, bartender, or kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Familiarity with POS systems including Lightspeed; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during high-volume periods
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is desirable but not mandatory
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or night shifts as required by hospitality operations
