Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons in and around the swimming area. This role requires a strong commitment to compliance management and effective communication skills, as well as the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Monitor the swimming area to ensure the safety of all guests.
Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding any incidents or concerns.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the pool facilities.

Qualifications

RLSS NPLQ is required
Strong compliance management skills to adhere to safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies.
Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
Must be physically fit and capable of performing rescues if required.
PVG registration is essential for the post, we can arrange it
