OTE £45,000–£55,000+ (Uncapped Earning Potential)

SRC Mortgage Solutions Ltd is an established and growing mortgage brokerage based in Basildon. We are seeking a currently practising Mortgage Adviser who can hit the ground running from day one. This is not a trainee or return-to-industry opportunity, so applicants should be actively advising clients and writing mortgage business within the UK mortgage market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

You will provide mortgage and protection advice to clients from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring suitable recommendations and excellent customer outcomes.

The majority of new enquiries are generated through our Housing Association Shared Ownership partnerships, together with referrals from our existing client bank and repeat business.

This is an office-based position in Basildon, Essex, where you'll work closely with our experienced team in a supportive environment.

This role is best suited to an adviser who is confident managing their own cases and paperwork, as administrative support is available but limited.

What You'll Need

Essential

CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified.
Currently working as a Mortgage Adviser within the UK mortgage market.
Minimum 2 years' recent, continuous mortgage advising experience.
A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent knowledge of current mortgage regulation, lender criteria and affordability assessments.
Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage your own pipeline effectively.
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering compliant, client-focused advice.
Full right to work in the UK.

Desirable

Experience advising on Shared Ownership mortgages.
Knowledge of affordable housing schemes and new build lending.
Experience of specialist lending.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Trainee Mortgage Advisers.
Candidates looking to return to mortgage advising after an extended break.
Applicants without current UK mortgage advising experience.
Candidates who do not hold the legal right to work in the UK.
