Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care across a variety of settings, including primary care clinics, nursing homes, and hospice environments. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, assessments, and examinations to diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions.
- Administer medications and oversee medication management plans in accordance with best practice guidelines.
- Perform or supervise medical imaging procedures as required for diagnostic purposes.
- Coordinate and participate in clinical research projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing medical knowledge.
- Deliver specialised care in areas such as ICU, senior care, hospice, or home care settings, tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide health education and advice to patients and their families on disease prevention, management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in anatomy knowledge, public health policies, and medical best practices to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Fully qualified General Practitioner registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Proven experience in clinical settings such as ICU, nursing homes, hospice care or home care environments.
- Strong background in patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration protocols, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience or interest in clinical research or public health initiatives is desirable.
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team.
- Organised with excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
