Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through detailed inspection and analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining high-quality output within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to upholding excellence in quality assurance processes.

Duties

Inspection of control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies to customer and internal drawings
Carrying out visual inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and quality standards
Continuity testing using a multimeter
Identifying defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issues
Verifying assemblies against bills of materials, drawings, and work instructions
Recording inspection results and reporting quality issues where required
Supporting production teams with quality related queries
Maintaining a clean and organised inspection area
Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements

Requirements

Previous inspection experience is essential
Experience inspecting control panels, cable harnesses/looms, or mechanical assemblies would be advantageous.
Experience using a multimeter for continuity testing
Good attention to detail
Ability to understand and follow technical drawings and documentation
Careful and methodical approach to work
Good communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

This role is vital in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
