Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to various products and components, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse operations to utilise their technical skills in a dynamic environment. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, hand tools, and power tools is essential for success in this position.

Duties

Operate spray guns and other painting equipment safely and efficiently
Mix paints and coatings according to specifications using basic math skills
Apply paint uniformly across different surfaces, maintaining quality standards
Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as required to achieve desired finish
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines

Experience

Previous experience in paint spraying is essential
Familiarity with paint spraying systems and mixing systems is essential
Basic math skills for mixing paints and measuring components accurately
Knowledge of safety procedures related to spray painting and equipment operation is essential
