As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will report to the Head of Billing and Non-Contestable Cost Management, playing an important role in the effective management of the non-contestable elements of each project.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Finance Analyst:
-
Create and maintain non-contestable templates for all Last Mile Design and Build North and Scotland projects and sites, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.

Reconcile non-contestable templates against budgets and actuals, identifying and resolving any differences.

Liaise with Incumbent Water Companies and internal departments to manage queries and support timely resolutions.

Create variations in simPRO for changes to non-contestable budgets, ensuring updates are billed to customers, and any budget differences are corrected.

Support month end reporting by preparing non-contestable analysis, variance narratives, Water Remedials reporting and POC Costs Unknown Journals.
Experience / Knowledge:

Experience of working in a Finance role

IT Literate with use of Microsoft Excel

Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls
