About the Role:
Alexandria offers a strong base for businesses serving customers across Scotland and the wider United Kingdom, and at Antonio Ayala Digital Growth, we help organisations bring digital products to market with clearer positioning, stronger messaging and measurable commercial strategies.
We work with technology companies and growing digital brands that need to communicate complex products in a way customers can easily understand.
We believe that successful product marketing should do more than create promotional campaigns. It should connect customer needs, product capabilities and commercial priorities through a clear and compelling market strategy.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager who can take ownership of product positioning, go to market planning and customer focused messaging across our portfolio.
You will work closely with product, sales, marketing, customer success and data teams to understand target audiences and turn product capabilities into persuasive commercial stories.
You are not simply producing campaign materials. You are defining how products are presented, identifying why customers should care and ensuring that every launch is supported by reliable market insight.
You will also support Junior and Mid level marketing professionals, contribute to product planning and help establish consistent product marketing practices across the organisation.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Alexandria based team provides a collaborative and commercially focused environment where product marketers are trusted to develop strategies and take ownership of measurable results.
Product Marketing Standards:
You will not need to convince us that customer insight and effective positioning matter.
We value evidence based messaging, clear commercial priorities and campaigns connected to genuine customer needs.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
You will work closely with product managers, software teams, sales professionals, designers, data analysts and customer success specialists throughout the product lifecycle.
Meaningful Impact:
Your work will directly influence product adoption, sales effectiveness, customer engagement and long term commercial growth.
Growth:
You will receive support for relevant professional development, marketing training and continued learning in product positioning, customer research and go to market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Positioning:
Develop clear positioning and value propositions that explain how each product addresses important customer needs.
Go to Market Strategy:
Lead planning for product launches, feature releases and market expansion initiatives from initial preparation through performance review.
Customer Research:
Conduct interviews, analyse customer feedback and review market data to understand audience priorities, objections and buying behaviour.
Messaging Development:
Create messaging frameworks that can be used consistently across websites, sales materials, campaigns, presentations and customer communications.
Market Segmentation:
Identify priority customer groups and develop tailored messaging based on their needs, challenges and decision making criteria.
Competitive Analysis:
Monitor competitors, market trends and category developments to identify opportunities for stronger differentiation.
Launch Management:
Coordinate product, marketing, sales and customer success teams throughout launch planning and execution.
Marketing Mentoring:
Support Junior and Mid level marketing professionals.
Review campaign plans, positioning documents and product messaging while providing practical feedback that improves team capability.
Sales Enablement:
Create product presentations, comparison guides, case studies, objection handling materials and other resources that support sales conversations.
Campaign Strategy:
Develop integrated campaigns that increase awareness, generate qualified demand and encourage product adoption.
Performance Analysis:
Do not rely on assumptions.
Use campaign data, customer feedback, conversion results and product usage information to evaluate performance and guide improvements.
Stakeholder Management:
Present product marketing strategies and recommendations to product, commercial and operational stakeholders.
You can explain why a particular market position or message is appropriate, not simply communicate what content will be published.
Product Adoption:
Work with product and customer success teams to improve onboarding, feature awareness and ongoing customer engagement.
Content Strategy:
Guide the development of product focused articles, landing pages, webinars, email campaigns and customer success stories.
Commercial Planning:
Support pricing, packaging and market entry decisions by providing relevant customer and competitor insight.
Reporting:
Prepare clear reports covering launch performance, campaign results, market feedback, product adoption and upcoming priorities.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 6 years of product marketing, digital marketing or commercial strategy experience, including responsibility for product launches and go to market programmes.
Industry Knowledge:
Previous experience in software, digital services, business technology, financial technology or another product led environment is preferred.
Product Positioning:
Strong experience developing value propositions, messaging frameworks and market differentiation strategies.
Go to Market Experience:
Proven experience coordinating successful product launches across marketing, product, sales and customer success teams.
Customer Research:
Practical experience conducting customer interviews, analysing market feedback and converting findings into clear commercial recommendations.
Commercial Awareness:
You understand how product marketing affects customer acquisition, conversion, adoption, retention and revenue growth.
Campaign Management:
Strong understanding of digital campaigns, content marketing, customer journeys and demand generation.
Data Analysis:
You can interpret marketing performance, customer behaviour and product adoption data to identify opportunities and evaluate results.
Leadership Skills:
Previous experience coordinating cross functional projects and supporting less experienced marketing professionals is preferred.
Communication Skills:
Strong professional English is required for messaging development, campaign planning, stakeholder presentations and customer research.
Technical Skills:
Confident using marketing, analytics and collaboration platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Productboard or similar systems.
Mindset:
You are commercially aware, curious and customer focused.
You know when a product message needs stronger evidence, when a launch plan should be challenged and when a clear focused campaign will create more value than unnecessary complexity.
