Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Accounts Assistant, where you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in financial operations within a dynamic organisation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational accounting skills, work with leading accounting software, and support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records. Duties

Assist with data entry tasks across various accounting platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support accounts payable processes by verifying invoices and processing payments efficiently.
Help maintain and update financial records using software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports.
Learn to operate accounting software tools including Xero and Dext for daily transactions.
Contribute to the organisation’s financial services by supporting audit preparations and documentation.
Perform general administrative tasks related to finance, including filing and record keeping.

Requirements

Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in developing further expertise.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is a plus.
Experience or knowledge of data entry processes and financial data management.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork.
Prior exposure to finance or administrative roles within a professional setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
