Full job description

A growing bakery production company is looking for an experienced and driven Bakery Production Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced bakery environment specialising in cakes, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes and dessert products.

This role is ideal for someone with strong bakery production experience who can lead a team, maintain high product standards and help scale operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day bakery production operations
Overseeing production schedules and ensuring targets are achieved
Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and presentation
Managing staff performance, training and rota planning
Monitoring stock levels and ingredient ordering
Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety compliance
Improving workflow, systems and production efficiency
Supporting product development and production planning

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bakery Manager, Production Manager or Senior Bakery Supervisor
Strong knowledge of bakery production operations
Experience working with cakes, cookies, brownies and dessert products
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
Strong understanding of food hygiene procedures
Reliable, proactive and solution-focused attitude
