Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Dentist to join our Bankhouse Dental Care practice in Airdrie on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis.

The Opportunity

- Deliver high-quality general dental care to a diverse patient base within a supportive practice environment
- Carry out comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and a wide range of restorative, preventive, and therapeutic treatments
- Build trusted relationships with patients through clear communication, empathy, and personalised care
- Work collaboratively with dental nurses, clinicians, and the wider practice team to provide seamless patient journeys
- Maintain excellent clinical standards while supporting continuity of care for patients
- Quickly integrate into an established practice and make a positive contribution from day one

About You
- GDC-registered dentist with a valid licence to practise
- Proven experience delivering general dental treatment within a UK dental practice setting
- Confident in assessing patients, diagnosing dental conditions, and developing appropriate treatment plans
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to provide safe, effective, and patient-focused care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
- Knowledge of UK dental regulations, infection prevention and control standards, and clinical governance requirements
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage a busy patient schedule effectively
- Comfortable adapting to different practice systems and working independently as a locum clinician
- Fully compliant with CPD requirements and committed to ongoing professional development
