Tents and Events is a family run busy marquee company operating in Central/West Scotland. Much of our work is in Glasgow, Central Belt, Argyll and Ayrshire with occasional work in other locations further afield. Our depot is in Rutherglen, Glasgow.
Our work normally peaks during the summer months however due to an expected increased workload through over the winter with work in the Film & TV industry we are looking to add to our full-time team.
Candidates must be self-motivated with a positive attitude and an aptitude for practical work.
This is a physical outdoor role (in all weathers) with flexible working hours to adapt to the event industry which may occasionally include weekends.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be physically fit as the job entails a lot of lifting and carrying of equipment
Must be punctual in arriving and being ready to start work
Must be reliable in turning out for each scheduled shift
Ability to function without constantly referring to phones/social media (phones are for breaks)
A logical mind and ability to problem solve would be an advantage
Flexible attitude to work
Ability to work as part of a team interacting with colleagues
PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS
Full UK Driving License is preferred with additional qualifications e.g. trailer, HGV seen as an advantage
Must be able to get to our Depot for 7am
Experience in using hand tools and light power tools an advantage
Experience of Loading Vehicles would be an advantage
Must be willing work outdoors in all weathers (previous outdoor work experience an advantage)

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
