Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Aircraft Mechanic with opportunities of progression within the organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting aircraft maintenance, ensuring the proper functioning of aircraft systems, and performing inspections. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
Duties include, but are not limited to;
- being responsible in carrying out maintenance tasks;
- maintaining a high standard of work in all tasks;
- completing any appropriate documentation;
- complying with all company procedures (MOE), policies, CAA regulations;
- maintaining a safe and clean working environment;
- ensuring the company Health and Safety policy is always adhered to.
Qualifications
- Completed a practical apprenticeship in Aircraft Engineering (required);
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication and organisational skills;
- Additional aircraft certifications and qualifications are beneficial
Additional Information
Our working hours are Monday-Friday 0800-1630.
All employees are entitled to 28 days holiday a year (including bank holidays), once you have completed two continuous years, your holiday entitlement will increase one day per year to a maximum of 33 days.
After 6 months of employment staff have the opportunity to join the company health care scheme.
After one continuous year of service, employees will be given the opportunity to join the Employee Ownership Trust.
