Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Class 2 lorry equipped with a HIAB crane, delivering goods efficiently and safely across various locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV lorry fitted with a HIAB crane to load, unload, and deliver goods to clients and sites.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures during loading, unloading, and driving activities.
- Assist with the manoeuvring of the vehicle in tight spaces or challenging environments when necessary.
- Comply with all legal requirements for commercial driving and transportation.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience with HIAB cranes is essential; certification or training in HIAB operation is highly desirable..
- Good organisational skills and the ability to plan routes effectively.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
