Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop barista skills while working in a welcoming setting that values professionalism and teamwork. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive on providing memorable customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and operate the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and ensuring their satisfaction.
Follow food safety protocols at all times to uphold hygiene standards.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality service.
Basic food preparation skills, including handling ingredients and equipment safely.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and transaction processing.
