Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Club Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting club operations, and ensuring smooth communication between members and management. Duties
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the club, including maintaining records and documentation
- Manage membership databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Coordinate meetings, events, and bookings, providing exceptional guest services to members and visitors
- Handle correspondence, enquiries, and communication with members and external stakeholders
- Assist in organising club activities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Support management in implementing club policies and initiatives
- Maintain a welcoming environment by providing excellent hospitality and guest services
- Prepare reports and presentations as required for management review
Skills
- Proven experience in management or administrative roles within a hospitality or club setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to deliver outstanding guest services with professionalism and courtesy
- Proficiency in office software applications such as MS Office or similar programmes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Friendly demeanour with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is desirable but not essential
