Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a talented individual with an enhanced DBS (due to role and date required) who is a passionate and dedicated to fitness training for children. Any knowledge of Box Fitness or Martial Arts is also useful but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality fitness programmes to children, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring children aged 3-11 and varied skill levels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and promote discipline, confidence, and physical fitness within our community.

Duties

Plan and deliver one hour per week -an engaging fitness classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels
MUST be free Wednesdays 3.15-4.15
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Maintain a safe, organised, and motivating training environment at all times
Develop customised training programmes to meet individual student needs and goals
Promote a positive attitude towards martial arts, discipline, and personal development
Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and utilised correctly during classes

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching, fitness, or even box fitness or martial arts instruction.
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively
Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and provide guidance
Organisational skills to plan lessons and track student progress efficiently
Ability to foster a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined environment
Passion for fitness with a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and personal growth
Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs
