Overview

Summer job opportunity for post A-level students

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic STEM GCSE Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ learning journeys and develop your tutoring expertise in a supportive environment.

Duties

Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions in STEM subjects, focusing on GCSE curriculum requirements.
Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly to maximise understanding and confidence.
Provide clear explanations of complex concepts in mathematics, physics, chemistry, or biology.
Support students with exam preparation strategies and revision techniques.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments and feedback sessions.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements.

Requirements

Working knowledge of the GCSE curriculum for science and mathematics.
Excellent communication skills to explain concepts clearly and motivate students effectively.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
Organised and reliable with a professional attitude towards education.
Passion for inspiring students and supporting their academic development.
