The Opportunity:
We are looking for a e learning developer to join our team and contribute to teaching and learning in a world-leading centre of academic excellence. You will identify, understand and prioritise user requirements and estimate the development time needed for those requirements. They should have good experience of managing development projects from planning to completion. An understanding of accessibility, equality, and GDPR legislation is required.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Experience writing web applications using PHP 8+ or NextJS
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with automated testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working with users to collect and prioritise user requirements
The ability to prioritise their own workload and tasks for projects with competing deadlines

This post is full-time/ (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
