Job Overview

We are looking for a personable and dedicated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/CILEX/Fee Earner to join our busy residential conveyancing department. In this role, you will manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages. In this fee earning role, you will work closely with our excellent support staff, to guide clients through all aspects of the transaction from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
Provide clear, timely advice to clients on legal procedures, documentation, and potential issues
Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents accurately and efficiently
Coordinate with estate agents to facilitate smooth transactions
Review property searches, undertake land registry title checks, and undertake due diligence to ensure legal compliance
Keep clients informed of progress and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high service standards
Maintain meticulous case records and ensure all files are compliant with regulatory requirements

Skills

Good communication skills to explain legal matters clearly and confidently to clients and colleagues
IT proficiency in using case management systems
Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team

This role offers an engaging and 'hands on' environment, where your expertise and contribution will be valued.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
