Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable self employed Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept tidy, sanitary, and well-organised, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred, and a strong attention to detail is essential. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking steady employment within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all designated areas
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
Dispose of waste safely and efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied regularly
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and stored appropriately after use
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Organised with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management
