We're looking for a motivated Project Consultant to join our Invasive Vegetation, Biodiversity, and Blue Green Infrastructure Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of environmental projects, supporting clients and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable solutions.
As a Project Consultant, you'll become part of our flexible, team, where you'll support the planning and delivery of projects, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes. You'll be involved in managing project tasks, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role is ideal for someone with consultancy experience who enjoys solving environmental challenges, working collaboratively, and developing their technical and project management skills within a growing and dynamic team.
You will need to work independently and as part of a team with exceptional standards and a genuine enthusiasm for improving the environment.

What we need from you…

Seeking out new opportunities, new clients and available tenders

Lead on tender and contract submissions relevant to business growth collaborating with internal services

Manage the client experience from enquiry to arranging surveys to project completion across the Vegetation and BGI Department

Liaise with clients to arrange site visits, ensuring they are completed, amending dates where necessary and keeping the client informed

Undertaking Invasive species surveys and site surveys
-
Producing client-facing materials, including proposals, completion reports, GIS maps, and tender documents
-
Prepare and design proposals for undertaking eradication schemes and management plans for commercial clients
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers

Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales

Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls and emails
-
Targeting new customers to arrange meetings to introduce Ebsford

Gathering market and customer information
-
Maintaining the IMS information in order to accurately reflect prospects and contracts
-
Providing support where required to site personnel to enable them to deliver projects most effectively
-
Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues, areas for improvement and feedback to the operational teams

Work with the CEM department to increase company profile by creating case studies and providing service information

Any other ad hoc duties as defined by your line manager in particular, assisting in the development of services offered through biodiversity and blue green infrastructure
