Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills and contribute to a vibrant dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during food handling and cooking processes
Support the team in maintaining stock levels and rotating ingredients appropriately
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary trends is desirable
Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential
