What Will You Be Doing?
As a Senior People & Culture Advisor, you will ensure our people systems are fully utilised, our reporting is accurate, and our decisions are grounded in clear, meaningful insight. Your main responsibilities include:
- People-Centric Policy: Coordinating the creation, review, and improvement of inclusive, values-led People policies while translating them into simple "how-to" guides for managers.
- Data Insight & Evidence: Producing clear workforce reports (turnover, absence, recruitment) to support operational decisions, and working alongside the Manager on payroll.
- Advice & Guidance: Acting as a trusted first point of contact to offer calm, practical guidance on ER cases, performance, conduct, and early, informal conflict resolution.
- Team Support & Collaboration: Providing supportive coaching to the People Coordinator and ensuring key processes, like the Single Central Record (SCR), meet strict regulatory standards.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
To be successful in this rewarding role, it is essential that you have:
- A Level 5 CIPD Associate Diploma (or equivalent professional experience) alongside a commitment to your own professional development.
- Solid knowledge of UK Employment Law, HR Best Practice, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience supporting employee relations (ER) cases and navigating fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret policy and build constructive relationships at all levels.
- Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining up-to-date records in accordance with data protection rules.
