Full job description

Working closely with marketing and account management, this role is perfect for a driven, commercially-minded professional ready to drive tangible business expansion across the South West and beyond.

You are a highly engaging, charismatic, and customer-centric professional with a natural flair for public engagement. You thrive in relationship-driven environments and understand the nuances of how people interact with consumer brands.

Deeply empathetic yet commercially sharp, you have the ability to build immediate, authentic rapport with stakeholders, naturally translating human behavior and public sentiment into tangible business growth.

Your Experience

Proven commercial or business development track record focused heavily on consumerism or tourism sectors.
Extensive industry experience within Hospitality, Tourism, Consumer Goods or Games.
Demonstrable history of managing partnerships and strategies focused on public facing or customer engagement..

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Business & Sales DevelopmentOversee all new revenue streams. Spearhead strategic initiatives to enter new markets, actively expand Hertzian's client base, and drive commercial growth.
Cross-Department CollabActively contribute to and align with the Marketing and Account Management teams. Ensure commercial insights feed into overall business strategies.
Presentations & PitchingRegularly attend high-level client meetings and confidently deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders as a key ambassador for Hertzian.
Stakeholder ReportingProvide clear, accurate, and timely reports on commercial performance, pipeline health, and strategic growth metrics to the Executive Management team and key stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

Location: Based in the South West region.
Travel: Valid driver's licence & in-date passport.
Software: Confident with JIRA, Pipedrive, and SharePoint/GDrive.
Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.*

*Please note: While Hertzian is licensed to issue Sponsorship Visas, we are not electing to do so for this position.

Day-to-Day Activities

Generating leads and new business.
Updating CRM pipelines and tracking commercial targets.Scoping and developing new market opportunities.
Travelling across the South West for client meetings.
Collaborating with Marketing to refine sales collateral.

3-Month Probation Milestone

At the end of your 3-month probation, you will deliver a comprehensive presentation to the Executive team. This presentation must outline your current performance and outputs, key learnings, and provide your professional feedback and strategic suggestions moving forward.

Measuring KPIs

New Revenues

Achievement of new revenue goals and sales targets.
New business opportunities generated and successfully closed.
Identification and successful business/partnership growth into new market sectors.

Pay: Up to £34,800.00 per year
