About the role:
The Director of Sales is responsible for driving profitable new business growth across The Collective portfolio. This is a proactive hunter role focused on identifying, developing, and converting strategic opportunities while building long-term client relationships.

As a Director of Sales, you will:
Develop and execute annual sales strategies aligned to The Collective’s growth objectives.
Build, manage, and maintain strategic target accounts and a qualified new business pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and client challenges to shape proactive sales strategies.
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, events, partnerships, thought leadership, and marketing activity.
Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key buying influencers.
Lead discovery conversations and solution ideation workshops to develop compelling, client-focused value propositions.
Partner with creative, production, technology, delegate management, and Experience Design teams to develop winning solutions, proposals, and pitches.
Lead Go/No-Go assessments, bid strategy, and the management of complex RFPs, tenders, and pitch opportunities.
Embed client insight and voice-of-customer feedback into sales strategies, presentations, and proposals.
You’re good at:
Leading commercial negotiations and support contracting processes.
Maintaining accurate forecasting, CRM reporting, pipeline governance, and compliance with sales processes and tools.
Conducting win/loss analysis and share insights to strengthen future sales performance.
Ensuring successful handover of won business to operational teams.
Representing The Collective at industry events, networking forums, webinars, client events, and marketing campaigns as a brand ambassador and thought leader.
Working alongside other Sales and Account management personnel to ensure any cross sell/upsell opportunities are maximised

You should know:
This role offers hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in our Milton Keynes or Fleet office
Our standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour break
Have the desire and ability to travel in the UK and Overseas on occasion
