Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Administrator specialised in Social Housing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting tenants, and ensuring the smooth operation of our social housing office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for organized individuals with strong communication skills to contribute to community development and housing management.

Ideally the Candidate will be seeking career progression.

Duties

Managing day-to-day administrative operations within the office
Handling tenant enquiries via phone, email, and in person with professional phone etiquette
Maintaining accurate records through data entry and filing systems
Organising appointments, meetings, and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Booking in Tenants for property viewings and appraisals
Assisting with tenant onboarding, lease renewals, and documentation updates
Supporting property management staff with clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and correspondence
Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and data protection regulations
Providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
Experience with XERO
Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
Strong administrative experience with attention to detail
Good phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Clerical experience within social housing or related fields is advantageous
