Overview
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Turner to help support a busy CNC Turning production area, machining high-precision Motorsport and Aerospace parts.
You’ll be part of a small, friendly team working on challenging and interesting projects, producing components to demanding quality standards.

Applicants must already be resident in the UK and have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
This is a permanent, site-based position and candidates must be able to reliably commute to our premises.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation
- Be able to input programmes independently and have a good understanding of what programmes are doing.
- Read technical drawings and understand GD & T.
- Set tooling / jobs without assistance.
- Operate machines and request help as and when required upon arising issues.
- Measure components using manual and automatic measuring equipment.
- To be discreet with sensitive information.
- Complete all relevant documents involved according to company procedure.
- Understand and instil our quality requirements including working to ISO 9001:2015.
Requirements
- You will have good experience of programming, setting and running Fanuc based CNC lathes. Typically, you will be running and Hardinge GT machines. Predominantly turning parts out of aluminium, stainless steel and high performance plastics.
- Understand all drawing features including GD & T.
- Be self-sufficient in the setting and running of jobs given.
- Be competent in time management and be able to ask for assistance when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production requirements
- Computer-literate.

Pay: £18.00-£23.00 per hour
